After an impressive 2-1 road win away to Real Salt Lake last Wednesday in Utah, our LA Galaxy were able to secure control of their own destiny for second place heading into Sunday evening’s final home game at DHSP versus the Vancouver Whitecaps in final home game of the 2019 regular season. A win over the Whitecaps and our Gs would secure 2nd in the west with one game remaining. However, a lackluster performance – that even got some of the #SFTS boys sick – versus the Whitecaps resulted in a 3-4 loss! Back-to-back years now where our LA Galaxy lose on fan appreciation night; although, this one not as bad as last year given that other MLS results in the west still give our Gs a chance at second place in the west. The SFTS crew talk about the defensive and goalkeeping flaws that resulted in 4 goals from a Whitecaps team with nothing to play for other than pride plus quite a few SFTF questions!
